I believe that if you are exercising it is important that you are doing it with intentionality and purpose. I want you to exercise for the results you want not just in general. You could workout anywhere for general health but you come here because I build you a custom program that produces specific results.
Eat Real Food
Eating real food is absolutely critical for achieving optimal wellness and the body you want. If you are not fueling your body with the proper food at the right times you are at a serious disadvantage when it comes to getting the results you want. So I teach you what is real food, when is the best time to eat certain foods, foods to avoid, fat burning foods, brain boosting foods, and the list goes on. The public has been mislead on what foods are healthy for too long and I want to change this trend! Note: All we do is educate, no diet prescriptions here.
Sleep is one of the most important aspects to our health and yet so often overlooked. Sleep deprivations leads to weight gain, stress, hormonal imbalances, no energy, decreased sex drive, and much more. My goal is teach you how to get your sleep back on track with my sleep optimization program.
Spend Time in Nature
In my quest for discovering the secrets to optimal living I found that nature is critical to ones well being. Throughout history we have always spent time outside in nature but technology, sedentary jobs, social media, etc are stealing our nature time and we are paying the price. So at Custom Fit not only do I educate clients about the importance of spending time in nature but it is part of the program! So if you like being outside and in nature then you will love the monthly outdoor workouts and hikes all throughout the year.
Building a strong community of people is crucial to our mental and emotional well being. Throughout history we relied on one another just to live and I think that created incredible bonds between humans. I want to get back to this kind of fellowship! At Custom Fit I strive to build community through the group workouts, monthly hikes, dinner get togethers, local community outreach, and much more.
It has always been my goal that my gym would be about more than just building better bodies. I believe the healthiest and happiest people are those who are reaching down to help others up. If you desire to be the hands and feet of compassion in this community then I can assure you I will have many opportunities to get involved. Recently we collected socks for the homeless and walked the streets and handed them out on cold nights. It was a humbling and incredible experience. Richard(pictured right) was just one of the great people I had the opportunity to hang out with that day
Unplug to Connect
Unplugging from life is a mandatory part of achieving optimal wellness. Whether its emails, tv, social media, text messaging, video games, etc we have never been more plugged in and it is exhausting our bodies and mind. My goal is to teach folks how to get back to connecting with the things that really matter(family, nature, friends, imagination, play). Just because you are an adult doesn't mean you have to stop "playing"! The strategies I teach will go far in helping you reduce stress, relax your mind, and reconnect with life's simple pleasures.
Proactive not Reactive
My philosophy has always been don't wait until your health and body is broken to fix it. Be Proactive! I will teach you the strategies to optimize health now so your body performs well and injury free.
